Yuhua joined as a speaker for the panel discussion on ESG and sustainable investment between China and Europe. The panel of industry experts highlighted key developments in the EU’s regulatory framework for green energy and ESG, and the investment flows between China and Europe in the clean energy sector. They emphasised that responsible business practices and green finance will shape the future of cross-border investment opportunities, while there is a growing need for businesses to navigate ESG standards and requirements across different jurisdictions.

The conference also coincided with the annual general meeting of the ACLE, which has grown into an association with more than 100 Chinese speaking lawyers in Europe, including the UK. During the AGM, members elected the association’s new board with Germany-based Yifan Zhu, as the newly appointed president. The immediate past president Qun Gu, meanwhile, has been named as honorary president for her outstanding contributions during her tenure as the president.
